You can now pretty much translate from anywhere, the extension was sorta useless so I've made it a bit more useful without it needing to be heavily depended on. I have a lot of these changelogs and it's a huge spam and a lot of these are post-written well after the update happened but I wanted to make the entries but we'll be getting to actual updates now and not just changelog hell.
Additions:
Desktop:
- The ability to choose which websites the copy popup appears for: all, only selected ones (including domains) or all excluding selected ones
- You can choose whether a popup is shown for other apps or not too
- A popup has a little option at the top to filter out a website from ever having a popup made for it too
Extension:
- Select text on any page, right-click and you get a "Translate with pyontan" context-menu option (you can also highlight and click the 訳 icon if you have it enabled in extension settings)
- Chat translation now supports Twitch/Youtube VODs/Past streams
- A new context menu when you right click which is "Translate this Page" which offers a full page translation, this contributes to a separate limit on our AI
Updated:
Desktop:
- pyontan AI is now the default AI
- Step 1 no longer locks you out, pretty much for 99.9% of people, step 1 will be automatically completed
Dashboard:
- Better pagination for lists, basically less before there's a page
- AI conversation and AI Tutor show your recent ones a page at a time with Show more for older ones and every entry is reachable
- On a phone, AI Conversation is now a clock icon on the chat bar with a popup so it's easier to get a list of the history
- Searching the blog or guides searches every post, not just on that page
- You can now ask the AI Tutor from the dashboard, it'll open the Tutor with the answer so you have quick access to AI Tutor
- Can create a new note and access your latest notes from the Dashboard
Fixes:
Dashboard:
- A manga's Top comments rank all of its comments by upvotes
- AI Tutor clears your previous answer/context even if you asked for a New Topic, but it's still available in Recent
Extension:
- A twitch chat message with an emote in the middle is translated in full. Before it was only before the emote which was a parsing failure that's on miiiiiii (the emote is still ignored)
